Diagnostic Innovation

We are delighted that LS CancerDiag is being featured in this digital booklet on Finnish expertise in this field which is highly relevant to our business activities! You can browse through the publication or download the PDF version here.

The publication lists many of the reasons, why Finland has such excellent capabilities and expertise in diagnostics, such as its strong collaboration among high-level academic research, strong engineering skills and irrepressible entrepreneurial spirit. Finland also has one of the most efficient healthcare systems – offering high value for money spent. Business friendly legislation enables access to health data and biological specimens for research and development.

Those facts are well reflected in our long-standing collaboration with the Helsinki University Hospital (HUS) and the Central Hospital of Central Finland (now Nova Hospital), both partners that have been essential during the development of our DiagMMR® assay.

The HUS Helsinki University Hospital is part of the Academic Medical Center Helsinki (AMCH), which is an internationally renowned medical campus including the Faculty of Medicine, where the conducted high-quality medical research ranges from biological basic research to clinical applications.

Why Finland?

Finland is a small giant in the field of diagnostics due to its strong collaboration among high-level academic research, strong engineering skills and irrepressible entrepreneurial spirit.
