Welcome to the LS CancerDiag Industry Symposium at the 2023 CGA-IGC Annual Meeting!
A couple of weeks ago, we announced our partnership with The Collaborative Group of the Americas on Inherited Gastrointestinal Cancer (CGA-IGC).
One of the highlights of this valuable collaboration is supporting and participating in the CGA-IGC Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, United States, from the 26th to the 28th of October.
LS CancerDiag is proud to host an Industry Symposium at the CGA-IGC annual meeting next week on Thursday 26th October, from 12:45 to 13:45.
The symposium, titled “Lynch Syndrome or not? DiagMMR provides the functional solution” provides an overview of the LS CancerDiag DiagMMR innovation and its benefits in the prediction and prevention of Lynch Syndrome related cancers with a functional test that provides actionable results without the challenges typically linked to variant interpretation in genetic testing.

Professor Päivi Peltomäki, Co-inventor of the DiagMMR method and clinical advisor for LS CancerDiag; Professor at the Department of Medical and Clinical Genetics, University of Helsinki
Dr. Toni Seppälä, Professor of cancer research, University of Tampere; Gastroenterological surgeon and Head of personalized cancer management at the Tampere University Hospital and Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa (HUS)
Overall, the event includes a vast scientific program that gathers the latest innovations in clinical care and research breakthroughs in hereditary gastrointestinal cancer from experts worldwide. The program consists of scientific sessions, industry symposiums, and abstracts and features a long list of renowned experts, researchers, and other key stakeholders within the field of inherited gastrointestinal cancers.
